Utilizing relativistic time dilation for time-resolved studies

چکیده
Time-resolved studies have so far relied on rapidly triggering a photo-induced dynamic in chemical or biological ions molecules and subsequently probing them with beam of fast moving photons electrons that crosses the studied samples short period time. Hence, time resolution signal is mainly set by pulse duration pump probe pulses. In this paper, we propose different approach to problem has potential consistently achieve orders magnitude higher resolutions than what possible laser technology electron compression methods. Our proposed relies accelerating sample high speed relativistic dilation. Probing time-dilated would open up previously inaccessible domains.

Time Resolved Relativistic Electron Diffraction
We report on the use of a ultrashort high brightness relativistic beam from the UCLA Pegasus laboratory RF photoinjector source for probing matter transformation at the atomic scale with sub-100 fs time resolution. The high accelerating gradient and the relativistic electron energy allow to pack more than 107 electrons in less than 100 fs bunch length, enabling the study of irreversible ultrafa...
متن کاملAlzheimer DNA Vaccine and Relativistic Time Dilation
In a very recent paper published in November 2017 in the peer-reviewed scientific journal Bio Accent Open Access HIV, I describe a novel procedure designed to improve efficacy of DNA vaccines in areas as diverse as Alzheimer’s disease, HIV infection and cancer [1]. This procedure is based on non-covalent binding of highly charged molecules to DNA; positively charged polyL-lysine is first bound ...

متن کاملTime-resolved studies of radical pairs.
The effect of magnetic fields on chemical reactions through the RP (radical pair) mechanism is well established, but there are few examples, in the literature, of biological reactions that proceed through RP intermediates and show magnetic field-sensitivity. The present and future relevance of magnetic field effects in biological reactions is discussed.
متن کاملTime-Resolved Studies of Ultracold Ionizing Collisions
Using 40 ns laser pulses, we probe the real-time dynamics of ultracold ionizing collisions in metastable xenon. We time resolve both shielding and enhancement effects, and observe the production of Xe2 molecular ions through associative ionization. We estimate the rate of molecule formation in excited-state collisions, and directly measure the role of both flux enhancement and excited state sur...
